Bhuvaneshwari Beej Mantra Sadhana

In the vast landscape of Tantra, the Dasha Mahavidyas represent ten profound cosmic energies, each acting as a shortcut to supreme consciousness. Among them, the fourth Mahavidya, Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, holds a uniquely magnificent position.

Her name literally translates to “The Queen of the Universe” (
Bhuvana = Universe, Ishwari = Ruler). While other Mahavidyas can manifest as fierce or deeply ascetic, Bhuvaneshwari is the embodiment of absolute beauty, nurturing space, and infinite growth. She is the space in which the universe is created, sustained, and dissolved.

If you are seeking a spiritual practice that doesn't force you to choose between worldly prosperity and spiritual enlightenment, Bhuvaneshwari Sadhana is the ultimate bridge.

The Benefits of Bhuvaneshwari Sadhana

Unlike practices that demand severe renunciation, Bhuvaneshwari Sadhana acknowledges that human beings desire comfort, love, and security. She is the giver of both Bhoga (worldly enjoyment) and Moksha (liberation).

By aligning yourself with her frequency, you invite several profound shifts into your life:

  • Eradication of Scarcity: There is no greater prayog (ritual) than this for Daridratha-Naash (destruction of poverty). Even if there is poverty spanning seven births, it gets neutralized, allowing a person to become rich and prosperous. She dissolves financial stagnation, debt, and poverty, replacing them with luxury and unexpected avenues of wealth.

  • Magnetic Presence: Sadhaks (practitioners) are often blessed with a captivating aura, enhanced beauty, and improved relationships.

  • Protection: She acts as a shield against hidden enemies, litigation issues, and psychological fears.

  • Spiritual Expansion: Because she represents cosmic space (Akasha), her sadhana expands your consciousness, sharpening your intuition and third-eye perception.

Two Paths of Practice: Ritual Frameworks

Depending on your lineage and lifestyle, you can choose between two highly effective traditional frameworks to perform this sadhana.

Option A: The Fast Track (Midnight Wealth Prayog)

This traditional ritual focuses strictly on neutralizing deep financial distress.

  • Timing: Late at night.

  • Day to Start: Any Wednesday.

  • Attire & Sitting Mat (Asana): White clothes and a white woolen cloth mat. Facing North.

  • Setup: Spread a white cloth on a wooden plank. Place a consecrated Bhuvaneshwari Yantra and her picture on it.

  • Offerings: Light a pure ghee lamp and incense sticks (agarbathi). Keep a water pot (jal-patra) nearby. Offer a special bhog (prasad) made out of milk.

  • Rosary (Mala): Paarad Mala (Mercury beads).

  • Total Japa Count: 125,000 repetitions.

Option B: The Daily Expansion Method

This routine focuses on gradual integration, cosmic protection, and consciousness expansion.

  • Timing: During Brahma Muhurta (4:00 AM to 6:00 AM) or late evening after sunset.

  • Attire & Sitting Mat (Asana): Yellow or red woolen mat. Facing East or North.

  • Setup: Set up an altar with a picture/idol of the Goddess and a consecrated Bhuvaneshwari Yantra.

  • Offerings: Light a pure ghee lamp, incense sticks, and offer yellow flowers.

  • Rosary (Mala): Crystal (Sphatik) or Rudraksha rosary.

  • Daily Japa Count: Commit to a minimum of 11 or 21 rounds (1 round = 108 repetitions) daily over an 11- or 21-day period to achieve Siddhi (mastery).

Step-by-Step Sadhana Procedure

If you are following the comprehensive method (Option B), structure your daily practice using the following phases:

Phase 1: Viniyog (Setting the Intention)

Take a few drops of water in your right palm, recite the following mantra, and let the water flow onto the earth. This aligns your personal energy with the ancient lineage of this ritual.

Om Asya Shree Bhuvaneshwari Hriday Stotrasya Shree Shattilah Rishi,

Gayatri Channdah,

Shree Bhuvaneshwari Devta,

Ham Beejam, Eem Shaktih,

Ram Keelakam, Sakal Manowaanchitta-SiddhyarthamPaathe Viniyogah

Phase 2: Nyaasa (Body & Aura Purification)

Nyasa is the art of placing the divine mantra into your physical body, transforming your nervous system into a fit vessel for high-frequency energy.

Kar Nyasa (Hand Energy Activation)

Touch the designated fingers of both hands together while chanting:

  • Hraam Angushtaabhyam Namah (Touch both thumbs)

  • Hreem Tarjanibhyam Namah (Touch both index fingers)

  • Hroom Madhyamabhyam Namah (Touch both middle fingers)

  • Hraim Anamikabhyam Namah (Touch both ring fingers)

  • Hraum Kanishtikabhyam Namah (Touch both pinky fingers)

  • Hrah Karatala Karaprishthabhyam Namah (Touch your palms together, then the backs of your hands)

Anga Nyasa (Shielding the Vital Organs)

Touch the corresponding body parts with your right hand:

  • Hraam Hridayaaya Namah (Touch your heart)

  • Hreem Shirase Swaahaa (Touch the top of your head)

  • Hroom Shikhaaye Vashat (Touch the crown/back of the head)

  • Hraim Kavachaaya Hum (Cross your arms, touching opposite shoulders)

  • Hraum Netratrayaaya Vaushat (Touch your eyes and the third-eye space)

  • Hrah Astraaya Phat (Snap your fingers around your head clockwise to seal your aura)

Phase 3: Dhyan (Visualizing the Divine Space)

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and visualize the Goddess. She is seated on a golden throne, glowing with the radiance of a thousand rising suns. A crescent moon adorns her crown. In her hands, she holds a noose (to rein in negativity), a goad (to propel us forward), a gem-studded cup filled with divine nectar, and displays the mudras of fearlessness and granting boons. Her feet rest upon a jewel-filled pitcher.

Recite her contemplation verse:

Meaning
  • Form: She glows like the radiant, early morning sun, with three eyes and a smiling face. She has a full bosom and the crescent moon adorns her gem-studded crown.
  • Postures and Attributes: She holds a goad (ankusha), a noose (pasha) and makes gestures granting boons and dispelling fear (varada and abhaya mudras). In her hands, she also holds a gem-studded cup filled with divine nectar, while her feet rest upon a jewel-filled pitcher.

Phase 4: Beej Mantra Japa (The Core Activation)

Using your rosary, chant the primary vibration of the Cosmic Queen. The most potent and direct way to connect with her is through her single-syllable Beeja Mantra:

                             {Hreem (ह्रीं)

(Note: For an expanded invocation, you may alternatively chant: "Om Hreem Shreem Kleem Bhuvaneshwaryei Namah")

If you catch a glimpse or vision of Bhagwati Bhuvaneshwari in the midst of the chanting, do not let it distract you. Maintain your focus. Once the daily target or full 125,000 count is complete, join your hands with complete devotion and pray for the successful culmination of your sadhana and the fulfillment of your desires.

Ritual Conclusion & Energy Return

Once your chosen target or full 125,000-mantra prayog is complete, honor the energy through traditional acts of gratitude:

  1. Feeding: Feed a young, virgin girl (kanya) and offer her dakshina (a monetary token or gift).

  2. Visarjan: Respectfully return the physical tools to nature. Submerge the yantra, picture, and mala in a flowing river or clean body of water to close the ritual loop.

Important Guidelines for Sadhaks

  • Consistency is Key: Perform the sadhana at the exact same time every day to build a powerful energetic momentum.

  • Diet and Lifestyle: Maintain a clean, strictly vegetarian diet during the days of the sadhana. Avoid heavy, tamasic foods that cause lethargy.

  • Inner Space: Because Bhuvaneshwari rules over space, keep your physical sadhana room clean, decluttered, and well-ventilated. Similarly, keep your mind clear of gossip and negative thoughts.

By opening your life to Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, you tell the universe that you are ready to expand and hold more love, wealth, wisdom, and peace.

Have you ever tried a Mahavidya Sadhana before, or will this be your first time working with a Beeja mantra?
